Movie Poster

Oh man, I was in love with this prompt! My friend Kelly did a Halloween photo shoot with my other friend Vivian and her man James. So I already knew I wanted to incorporate one of her photos. Here is Kelly's original image that she took.

Already a fantastic photo! Now I was envisioning this couple in a spook ballroom with him sitting on a platform that the king and queen usually sit on.

 This thing -

However, I quickly got discouraged by that idea because I could not figure out how to make the man in the image sit on the stage. Then, I moved to a few other ideas. And those all fell flat so quickly! Below are two of the other directions I attempted to go with.

I just was not finding the vibe I was envisioning for a spooky movie poster. Thankfully after a talk with Mr. Willams, I went back to trying to make my original vision come to life. I found a background that I found tasteful. That is shown below.

After finding a background that was nice and spooky I was good to start turning this into a movie poster! The roof was too busy and took the attention off of the couple so I moved the background up and added shading to the bottom. I extended the windows and took out the line across the widow also because it was taking attention away from the couple. I chose to add the chair with a sheet over for the spook effect and the cupid statue because they are lovers in this spooky tail
